This HYROX program is a fully structured, purpose-driven training approach built around the key elements required for race performance: engine development, strength, endurance, skill work, and running under fatigue. All togther our sessions create a complete system that boosts performance week after week while remaining fully scalable for all fitness levels.
Each session has its own role
The program is led by coaches who actively compete at the highest levels of HYROX and hybrid racing. With Chris’s extensive experience, including World Championship appearances, podium finishes, a Men’s Pro win, and ongoing high-level competition. Along with Ethan who has done multiple HYROX races in the past 12 months and has progressed into Men’s Pro with strong results.

Push your engine and build serious leg power. High-intensity cardio meets lower-body strength to prep you for tough HYROX stations like wall balls.

HYROX HYBRID
Easy Cardio • Hard Stations • Upper-Body Endurance
A reset-and-rebuild session: steady cardio with challenging stations. Build upper-body endurance, sharpen technique, and work through carries, shoulder finishers, and burpee broad jumps.

Do You Want to Train With Coaches That Actually Race Hyrox?
The founder of Engine Room, Chris has competed in 2 World Championships, Podiumed in 6 Races and won a Men Pro Race in Cardiff and raced over 15 times in Men’s Doubles, Men’s Open and Men’s Pro. He also is currently actively training 10+ times a week for his usual monthly Men’s Pro race. This season so far he has Podiumed in the Men’s Doubles in Birmingham, positioned 5th in Dublin and 4th in Birmingham, both in Men’s Pro. He also placed top 10 for age in the London Hybrid Games.
Our coach Ethan has also competed in many Hyrox races and this season has been focusing on the step up to Men’s Pro, competing in Dublin, Birmingham and soon London. He also placed top 10 in the recent Hybrid Games.
Chris, Ethan and our club manager Ellie also both competed in London’s METRIX hybrid race earlier this year.
